In the US, today (second Sunday in May) is Mother’s Day. So I want to wish a happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers in my life, be they my wife, my sisters, friends, or just acquaintances. In particular today I’m thinking of several of my Pepperdine EMBA classmates from a few years ago who either have just had or are just about to have their first kids.
Here’s my mother, from a visit out here in March. She lives back on the other side of the country so we only actually get to see each other every couple of years, but we talk regularly and she says that she prays for me daily. I don’t doubt it – God knows that over the years I’ve probably given her enough reasons to ask for divine intercession.
Happy Mother’s Day, Mom! Love you!
