The Money Pit

For our 15th anniversary we spent a tidy five-figure sum on a new sewer line. Now that Christmas is almost here, and after spending several days without hot water (not nearly as much fun as it sounds like!), we’ve spent $1,200 on a new water heater.

New Year’s Eve had better be nice to us or we’ll enter 2017 bankrupt. And I don’t even want to think about what Valentine’s Day will bring!
