There seems to be another subtle shift going on in my focus and priorities and one of the side effects is that this is the third or fourth day in a row where I got to 8:30 or 9:00 at night and suddenly said, “Shazbatt! I haven’t done my blog post for the day! Quick, think of something!” This balance shift may be a good thing, there’s a bit of a feeling like it might be like a log jam of sorts breaking loose (which would be good), but we’ll see.
In the meantime, a quick review of the blog contents shows that we haven’t looked at fireworks pictures in a while. I love fireworks, I love pictures of fireworks. (I take a LOT of pictures.) Since I’ve shown them in the past from Anaheim Stadium (here and here), let’s look at a bunch from Dodger Stadium, taken on July 4, 2007.
At least this particular Fourth of July at Dodger Stadium we made it through the entire program. There was a year (I don’t remember exactly which one) where they only did about four or five minutes of the show and then abruptly stopped. We were waiting forever to see what was going on, then heard the fire trucks and had the lights come back on. There was an announcement that the rest of the show had been cancelled due to the fire in the palm trees by the Union 76 station in the parking lot. Oops!
