Form & Color Cousins

Last night’s sunset pictures were taken while I was leaving the CAF SoCal hangar in Camarillo. Across the street from the hangar is a vacant, dirt & gravel lot that’s used mainly for overflow parking for our events and the annual airshow. The airport and others will occasionally us the lot for storage or parking things.

There was some spare traffic control equipment stored there (they’re starting to do work on some of the taxiways and the runway) and the grouping and color and forms struck me as familiar…

What did this remind me of?

What caught my eye?

What made my brain say, “Hey, that’s interesting! It looks like…”?

Oh, yeah.

THAT’s what it was!
