Always Impossible Until Someone Does It

And today SpaceX did it, kicking ass and taking names in the “new space” theater:

I had “arranged” to take my lunch about this time, so I was sitting out in my car watching the whole thing, live, on my cell phone. When the first stage landed on that barge, there was some serious hooting and hollering going on in celebration. It’s a good thing that I was parked out on the far side of the parking lot or I’m sure that someone would have reported a possible axe-murder in progress with all that noise.

As I said in a comment on a FaceBook post, “If that doesn’t make you want to go tell strangers on the street about it while doing a happy dance, then we can’t be friends! AWESOME accomplishment!!”

When do I get to ride on one?
