Black Hole Sun Meets Woodstock

I was doing some research on places that we might want to head toward on the 21st to do our eclipse watching, depending on the weather, of course.

Some small towns near the intersection of the eclipse center line and major interstates are expecting as many as 100,000 people to flood in for a day. I saw articles from local planners who were trying to figure out how their water, traffic, groceries, gasoline, cell phone systems, sanitary facilities, medical facilities, and everything else would deal with that. Several compared it to what happened at Woodstock in 1969.

Stay chill, y’all.

Oh, and make sure to keep your gas tank full, have a cooler of snacks and drinks, and sunblock.

Stay inside the path of totality.

Bring patience. A metric shit ton of patience.

And have fun!
