It’s not Hawaii or Tahiti, but for LA it’s not bad. Can you see Venus in the twilight?

…yes… barely! LOL (Mars has vanished though… was hoping to catch it close to the Moon a few night back but, alas, no luck.)

If you want a real challenge, Comet Lovejoy is still just visible in binoculars high up in Cassiopia. Dropping down into telescope-only brightness soon.

Yeah, I keep thinking about revisiting it (and I noticed it’s dropped out of the media limelight) but I keep forgetting about it….
